God, you give us freedom to stand in loving solidarity with any and all who are harmed by society, by our economies, and by those who claim your name. Teach us to curb our urges to destroy and demean those who are others to us. Guide us, instead, in the building up of a world where every heart is fed and every belly is full. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
