Peace, all. I posted some text translations yesterday for this upcoming weekend (the Luke 16 story of Lazarus, Abraham, and the man who was rich. Here's a prayer of the day to use with it!
Peace.

Prayer of the Day
You crafted humankind, O God, with your hands in the dirt and your heart full of love. At last, we took shape. Breathing into us, you were not content to call us creatures. You called us your children, too–making all of Creation our kin. Empower us, we pray, to become family again. Foster in us the will to make in this world a home: where all are received, where no one goes hungry, and where all are lifted from the dust. Amen.
