Peace, all. Our theme for this Advent at Gethsemane is Faith in a Fractured World. This Sunday we light the candle of joy. We also read from the prophets, John the Baptist, and Mary’s expectant song. Here's a super simple Advent prayer that we're going to use. You're welcome to use it, too.

Prayer of the Day for Advent 3, Candle of Joy
God, your vision is joy for the joyless, food for those who have nothing to eat, blossoms in the deserts, and the laughter of all the earth. To this the prophets and the Son of God testify. Fill our hearts with love for this vision that, day by day, it might arrive in us—through Christ, our Life and our Bread. Amen.
