Y'all. Here's an alt. prayer for this Sunday. I think it picks up on a few themes from the Hebrews 12 and Luke 13 readings for Sunday using some different metaphors than our prayer resource book. Use it or don't :) Peace! ~ Tom

Prayer of the Day
God of all creation, at times, the weight of the world and the fears of our pending end collide. They can be crushing and dizzying. We become filled with overwhelm. As long as you give us life, give us also the strength and the will to run the race which you have set before us. Be our comfort and our shelter, our rock and our inspiration, now and always. Amen.
